Mt. Bera Privacy Statement

Mt. Bera has in the past, and will continue in the future,
to respect the privacy of Wine Club Members.
We do comply with the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 and meet the ten National Privacy Principles (NPP's) as spelt out in the Privacy Act which cover:
• Collection, use and disclosure of information.
• Storage of information.
• Access to information.
In particular we give the following commitments regarding
personal and sensitive information.
Any information held on any Wine Club Member will be
kept absolutely confidential and will not be made available to
any third party under any circumstances unless sanctioned by
the Club Member except to enable wine to be delivered to
Club Members.
Any Wine Club Member can request and gain access to all
information that Mt. Bera holds on that Wine Club Member.
Mt. Bera will not request or hold the following sensitive
information on any Wine Club Member - age, religion, financial
status, marital status, medical details or sexual information.
Mt. Bera will destroy all Wine Club Member information held if
that Member decides not to renew their Wine Club Membership.
Further, Mt. Bera gives a general undertaking to Wine Club
Members, that we will only collect and store personal
information that is necessary to enable us to carry out our day to
day business activities and legal obligations.
